Considered by some industry insiders to be the new Faye Wong, stylish Shanghai singer Isabelle Huang charms with her unique sound fusing contemporary pop and traditional Chinese music. Recorded in Taiwan, her second album continues to showcase her extraordinary vocal skills, like in the titular first plug, a heartbreaking ballad called "Special" where a simple piano-driven tune with strings accompaniment serves to underline Isabelle's inimitable sliding vocals. Award-winning Taiwanese producer Adia gave Isabelle his full backing, commenting that he expects her to become a leader in the international pop scene. Other songs on the new album include Isabelle's first composition "Knight", love song "Forgiving", oldie "Small Town Story", as well as Lingzhi Yuan which is a collaboration with Yue opera artist Zhao Zhigang. In addition, the album also contains her breakout hits "Itchy" and "High Song".
