After the smash hit "The Street of Wedding Invitations" last year, can Kay Tse retain her hold on the Song of the Year Award once more? It's certain that 2009 has been a fruitful year for the reigning Canto-pop queen so far, owing mostly to her best-selling album Yelling, which yielded two chart-topping singles "Zhu Yingtai" and "Song of the Year", and her first ever solo concerts at the Hong Kong Coliseum. But the best is saved for last as Kay plays her musical trump card at the end of the year, giving us her brand new album titled Slowness, for which she flew all the way to Iceland to shoot the cover and music video. Heading the track list is the main plug "Alive", and other numbers on the album include "Grace Period", "Memoirs of a Geisha", the RTHK sitcom Rooms to Let theme song "The Last Supper", and the catchy CM song "Body, Hair and Skin" for a drugstore chain.
